This blog describes my purchase, and maintenance of my 1976 BMW R75/6 and 1977 BMW R100S boxer motorcycle. 1977 R100S 6/2008-12/2008. 1976 R75/6 6/2009-Current. I started this blog to initially document a maintenance log, but realized how fun it is to go back and read my own experiences with this unique German machine.

Hello Pete, I'm currently stationed at Ft. Hood, I bought your bike in 2010 from a guy I guess that bought it from you. I plan on keepin' it. I also have a newer R1200GS Adventure and am not new to the BMW scene. It's in good hands, I will paint it and maintain it and ride it regularly. Been looking for a R75/6 and am glad I found your former bike. I'm moving to Ft. Huachuca, AZ and will be riding it there. Anyway, found your webpage looking for ideas to fix and do to the BMW.
